The Friends of the Rahway Public Library is a volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support though special projects, community service, educational and entertainment programs and outreach to the community.
The Friends have secured significant funding via annual book sales, fundraising dinners, scavenger hunts, dodgeball events and other fun activities. These events have helped bring the community together and shine light on the importance of our library as a crucial and essential community resource.
Monies raised have gone to supporting children’s activities, educational programs, purchasing additional books for lending, and providing necessary items not covered in the library’s ordinary budget.
The Friends of the Rahway Public Library meet every third Wednesday of the month at 7:00PM. Our current newsletter is coming soon!

We accept payment for membership via check, cash or online payment.
