The Rahway Public Library is happy to announce our recent partnership with the Plainfield Public Library and the Carnegie Corporation. Together, we will be rolling out expanded ESL course offerings. If you or anyone you know is interested in improving their English language skills, please fill out this form. We will reach out when new classes are scheduled.

Curbside Crafts for Kids are small kits that you can pick up to assemble at home. Just ask for a "curbside craft" at the circulation desk! Available all week during library hours, while supplies last. A new craft will be released every Saturday for the upcoming week!
November is Native American Heritage Month! Trailside Nature & Science Center will present an exploration of the lifestyles of the Lenape Native Americans of New Jersey in our cafe area. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. For ages 16 and up.

Documenting almost 160 years of Rahway's past, the online newspaper archive is an excellent resource for local history, obituaries, and for learning about the events that made Rahway the city it is today.
While the Rahway Public Library has reopened to the public, curbside pickup is still available. If you are interested in using this service, please put your books on hold through our online catalog. Once we have notified you that your books are available, come to the library and give us a call when you arrive. We will meet you on the loading dock underneath the building.
