What is a Museum Pass?
Museum Pass is a new program that lets Rahway card holders visit the Newark Museum for free!

Who may borrow museum passes?
Rahway adult residents with a valid library card. Cardholders must be in good standing with the library with no outstanding fines or fees.

How long may I keep a pass?
Three days.

Who may use the pass with me?
The library membership pass admits two adults and any children (through age 16) in the household, a 10% discount in the Museum Shop, and discounted tickets to the Planetarium.

How may I pick up and return a museum pass?
Museum passes are available at the circulation desk on a first come first served basis. Please return the pass in person to the circulation desk or in the audio/visual drop box.

What will it cost me?
It's free! (Unless it's returned late or lost).

What if I don't return a pass on time?
Failure to return the pass on time will result in a fine of $2.00 per day. Patrons will be charged $30 for a new museum pass in the event that it is lost.

Who pays for the museum pass?
Museum passes have been made possible by a generous donation by the Friends of the Rahway Public Library. To learn more about this organization, please visit their webpage.
