From the Garden State Parkway (South):
Take exit 135 (Clark/Westfield) stay to the right and make your first right onto Brant Avenue. At the light, make a left onto Westfield Avenue. Follow this to the fourth traffic light and make a right onto Irving Street. At end of Irving (Railroad Station will be on your right) turn left onto East Milton Avenue. Go through one light, and just past City Hall, turn right in second driveway for municipal parking lot, or third driveway (Michael F. Barry Court), just before you reach the bridge, for library parking lot. The Library is next to Recreation Center.
From the Garden State Parkway (North):
Take exit 135 (Clark/Westfield) follow the parkway circle around and follow signs for Rahway - this will put you on Brant Avenue. At the light, make a left onto Westfield Avenue. Follow this to the fourth traffic light and make a right onto Irving Street. At end of Irving (Railroad Station will be on your right) turn left onto East Milton Avenue. Go through one light, and just past City Hall, turn right in second driveway for municipal parking lot, or third driveway (Michael F. Barry Court), just before you reach the bridge, for library parking lot. The Library is next to Recreation Center.
From Routes 1 & 9 (Southbound):
Follow 1 & 9 through Linden past Merck. Make a right onto Milton Avenue. Pass through one traffic light, and immediately after crossing the bridge turn left on Michael F. Barry Court, for the library parking lot. If you miss the turn, you will immediately pass the Rahway Recreation Center. Turn left into the driveway next to the Recreation Center to park in the municipal parking lot. The Library is next to Recreation Center and can be accessed from either parking lot.
From Routes 1 & 9 (Northbound):
After entering Rahway, you will see a Comfort Suites Hotel to your left and Route 1 Auto Mall to your right. Turn right at the light onto Randolph Avenue, and then left at the next light onto Woodbridge Road/Rahway Avenue. This will become Lawrence Street. Turn left at the light onto East Milton Avenue. Immediately after crossing the bridge turn left on Michael F. Barry Court, for the library parking lot. If you miss the turn, you will immediately pass the Rahway Recreation Center. Turn left into the driveway next to the Recreation Center to park in the municipal parking lot. The Library is next to Recreation Center and can be accessed from either parking lot.
From the NJ Turnpike:
Take exit 12 (Carteret). Stay to the right on the exit ramp and turn right onto Roosevelt Avenue. Follow this into Rahway until it ends at a traffic light (the Department of Motor Vehicles will be in front of you). Make a right at that light and a left at the next - you are now on West Hazelwood Avenue. Just before the first traffic light, bear right onto Main Street. After one traffic light, go past SDI Corporation and turn right into municipal parking lot. You will see The Library facing you.
